 Homemade Air Freshener Spray 

What you’ll need: 

•     1 cup fabric softener
•     2 cups of water
•     ⅓ cup baking soda
•     Spray bottle
•     Saucepan

Steps:
First, you need to pour the water into a heated saucepan and bring it to a boil. Slowly, add the fabric softener and baking soda to the hot water and mixed well to dissolve the ingredients.
Lastly, allow the freshener to cool for one hour before putting it into the spray bottle. Shake it well before using and remember to label the spray bottle.  Spray the air freshener anywhere in your home or any location you might need it. Since this homemade air freshener uses fabric softener and baking soda, this can be used up for freshening the air in any room and deodorizing carpets and furniture. 

Bathroom Odor Eliminator 

What you’ll need: 

• 1/2 cup baking soda
• 1/2 cup white vinegar

Steps:
First, pour the ½ cup baking soda down the bathroom sink drain and shower drain. Since baking sodas absorb foul odors, let them sit for 15 minutes.
Second, pour the ½ cup of vinegar down each drain and let it sit again for another 15 minutes. These two ingredients will react to loosen unpleasant gunk and slime.
Lastly, flush hot water down both drains to rinse the smelly residues. (6)

DIY Shoe Odor Remover 

What you’ll need: 

• Hydrogen Peroxide
• Spray Bottle
• Sponge 

 Steps:
First, fill the spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide.
Next, spray the inside of the shoe enough to make it damp but not saturate it.
Lastly, use a sponge to clean the shoe inside and remove dirt and odors.
Allow them to dry completely before wearing them.Air dry in the sun would be more effective in drying them too. (6)

DIY Peppermint Deodorizer Disks

What you need: 

• 1/2 cup of water
• 2 cups baking soda
• 12 drops peppermint essential oil
• Cupcake pan
• 12 silicone baking cups
• A small bowl

 Steps:
Combine water, baking soda, and 12 drops of peppermint essential oil in a bowl to form a paste.
Second, line the cupcake pan with silicone cups and spoon the scented paste evenly into each cup.  Place the baking pan into the oven preheated to 350°F and bake for 20 minutes. Allow the peppermint deodorizer disks to cool completely before removing them from the pan. Place a disk into the bottom of your trash can to neutralize odor every couple of weeks. 

DIY Essential Oil Spray 

What you need: 

• 2 cups of warm water
• 2 tablespoons of baking soda
• 1/2 cup of witch hazel
• 7 drops of lavender essential oil
• 7 drops of thieves oil
• A spray bottle

 Steps:
Mix warm water with two tablespoons of baking soda. It is best to use distilled water so there will be no minerals to annoy you while you clean. Then add in the witch hazel and swirl the mixture in a container. Add 7 drops of lavender essential oil, 7 drops of thieves oil, and close the spray bottle. Shake the bottle thoroughly until you feel it’s been mixed well.
